Regarding this article, I have overhauled it, everything from its former title to the content itself.

But first, let me give you a short foreword; you need to take extra steps before you become an Affiliate of Lazada. It could mean additional waiting time for approval, but it is necessary.

Once you finished those steps, you will feel you hit a gold mine.

In the internet realm, affiliate marketing fascinates me the most. I thought no one could earn extra income just by becoming an affiliate to certain companies.

Lots of affiliate marketing programs are available on the internet, but finding the right one seems overwhelming.

So, I turned my attention to Lazada. Unfortunately, a direct application link became unavailable. They stopped taking new affiliates.

You also need to consider the people whom you will serve with the program (I am sounding like a politician here- Wink-Wink).

I have accounts with international companies like Ubuy and eBay, to name a few. These companies work globally, and their coverage is nearly every corner of the earth.

But don’t go global just yet, let’s narrow down our focus first.

The First Extra Steps to become a Lazada Associate.

Usually, when we need to perform extra steps, we do it after the primary goal. But here, it’s the opposite.

The very first thing you need to do is to sign up for a free account with Involve Asia.

Brief Background — A performance-based marketing company, Involve Asia, is in Malaysia and started its operation since 2014. It does a perfect job of connecting Publishers (YOU) and Advertisers under one roof.

Things to Remember When Joining Involve Asia:

• You need an active website, YouTube Channel, or a FB page.
• They should be within Involve Asia’s category or niches (i.e., Beauty, Electronics, Fashion, Food, Finance, Health and Beauty, Shopping, Insurance, travel)
• Those websites, channels, or FB pages should have a constant flow of web traffic.

Now, make your account HERE.

Once finished with the initial step, wait for a confirmation email.

After confirmation, you will receive a welcome email asking you to complete your account setup.

Just a note. Not that I’m discouraging you, but I believe that having enough traffic is crucial for fast approval of your application.

IA discriminate no applicants. You can keep your affiliate account, but you can’t use its tools just yet until the full approval of that account.

I applied for an IA account when my website was just a month old. And based on my experience, it took me several attempts to add URL on the Property section before IA fully approved my account. That was 124 days of rejections and repeated tries. Anyway, that’s my fault. I only checked my application status every two weeks.

The reason might be, is traffic.

I am not doing any paid campaigns to generate traffic. I’m just doing what I enjoy doing — writing with consistency.

Eventually, my efforts paid off; I have organic traffic!

Why it matters? — Involve Asia needs to know if you are capable enough to drive customers to their advertisers.

Becoming a Lazada Affiliate.

Now, let us talk about the real reason you are here.

NOTE: To make your life easier, use a browser (usually Google) and do these steps on a desktop or laptop.

Once Involve Asia has fully approved your account as described above, let’s look for Lazada inside.

1. From the Dashboard, go to Partner; then from the dropdown menu, select Advertiser Directory.
   • You will then land inside the Advertiser Directory Page. It is where you will find advertisers and deals to promote on your site. By default, the secondary search bar (which its dedication is for searching countries) will automatically set to the country of your location.

2. In the first bar, type Lazada then hit SEARCH.
   • IA will give you the Lazada App (PH), where you can promote an unlimited number of items and Lazada (PH), where you can use to promote bonus offers. One at a time, apply to both of them.

3. A Request Approval will pop.
   • You need to answer all the questions like where your traffic is coming, how will you promote the offers, etc. When you finished filling up the blanks, click SAVE. You have submitted your application successfully!

4. When you go back to the Advertiser Directory Page, notice that the Lazada App (PH) is in pending status.
   • Until you get a notification that says Involve Asia approves your application, there is nothing much you can do.

How to Create Links using Involve Asia Tools?

After being approved by the Lazada App (PH), now you can start creating your links.

Involve Asia has provided its Publishers (Affiliates) with simple tools to generate affiliate links with ease.

1. From your Dashboard, go to Promotion; then from the dropdown menu, select Deeplink.
   • You will land inside the Deeplink Generator Page. From here, you can generate a tracking link directly to a catalog, offers, or a product inside pages instead of the home page.

2. Under Advertiser, you will see all the advertisers list that qualify you as their affiliate.
   • From the dropdown menu, look for and select the Lazada App (PH).

3. From your browser, open another tab and go to https://www.lazada.com.ph.
   • Look for a catalog of products or any specific offers you want to sell, copy its URL.

The catalog or product URL will look like this in the search bar —

4. Once you have the URL copied, go back to the Deeplink Generator Page and paste it under Insert Destination URL. Then hit GENERATE.
   • The page will then refresh. See that you have successfully generated an affiliate link, both in short and long-form. You have the option to share it right away to your Facebook, Twitter, and WhatsApp or just copy and save it for later use.

5. From the Deeplink Generator Page, just scroll down and you will see all the links you have created.

Finally, I can say — It’s that simple!
